Daytime respite/ Community Inclusion worker
Our staff are put in a position of trust by our Service Users families/carers and as such we require individuals who will uphold the ethos and standards of the company to ensure that the care given will be of the highest standard. To achieve these candidates will ideally have some experience in the care profession. Candidates need to be able to use initiative, adapt to situations that can change in an instant and demonstrate good verbal communication skills.
Job Role
This role can be either full or part time to support the needs of a candidate, you will be supporting people either in their own homes or out in the community. An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care would be advantageous but not essential as we will provide full training to make sure that we can help every candidate achieve to the best of their abilities. Due to the nature of the role candidates would need to be able to get around independently so the ability to drive and a car would be preferable but if a candidate can get themselves about then not essential
The main duties will be:

Accompanying them and assisting them to attend activities within the community setting.

Home Carer
Sometimes the Home Carer is the only person that a Service User will see on a day-to-day basis so the ability to build relationships with the Service Users is a key part of the role, as is recognising any changes within the person and reporting them. As a company we expect all of our staff to work to the highest standard so that we can give people who are entering their twilight years the best standard of care possible.
Job Role
This position can be either full or part time to support the needs of the employee. It involves visiting individuals within their own homes to provide packages of care that can last from 15 minutes up to an hour. The nature of this role involves moving from between people's homes so having a driving licence and the use of a car is very much preferred but if a candidate has the ability to get around it can be looked at. An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
These visits will include:

Personal Care to the client which includes washing/ bathing/ showering, dressing, changing soiled clothing and incontinence.

Food preparation/ help feeding people where needed.

Light house work to help the client.

Supported living worker
As we grow up, we all wish to become more independent but for some people it isn’t as easy as others. Our supported living services help individuals to experience independence in the best way that they can by living in their own tenancies and having a place to call their own given appropriate levels of support to help them in this aim.
Job Role
This position can be either full or part time but will involve shifts so part time would be one or two full day shifts. The nature of this role means that it can involve 24hr hr care so nights be it wake-in or sleep-in are part of the role. An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
The role will involve:

Personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, which may involve dealing with soiled clothing and incontinence material.

Food preparation.

Community activities
-
Shopping.
-
Helping service users to keep their homes and gardens clean and tidy.
